His Highness Sheikh Khalifa received cables from Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman; King Abdullah II of Jordan; President Omar Hasan al-Bashir of Sudan; President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine; President Hassan Rouhani of Iran; President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan; President Tony Tan Keng Yam of Singapore; President Barak Obama of the United States; and Prime Minister David Cameron of the UK.
H.H. Sheikh Khalifa also received cables on the occasion from Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister of Oman; Dr. Nabil el-Araby, Secretary General of the League of Arab States; and Fayez Al Mutairi, Director-General of the Arab Labour Organisation.
