Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab congratulated Sudanese President Omar al Bashir on his re-election.
During the opening of the Egypt-Sudan border terminal of Qastal-Ashkit Thursday, Mahlab said the largest trade hindrance between the two countries was the absence of linking roads but now there is no excuse.
Mahlab said he hopes the volume of trade exchange, currently standing at only $500 million, to be doubled.
