Egypt's FM conveys Sisi's appreciation to King Salman

Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry conveyed appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz, said a statement by the Foreign Ministry on Friday.

During a meeting held with King Salman in Riyadh, Egypt's top diplomat stressed Sisi's appreciation for Saudi stances supportive of Egypt and its people in different circumstances.

The meeting tackled Egypt's point of view regarding promoting bilateral ties in this critical stage along with enhancing Arab joint action.

King Salman voiced appreciation for President Sisi and the Egyptian people.

King Salman reviewed the kingdom's view on upgrading bilateral ties and regional issues.

The meeting reflects the strength of relations binding Egypt and Saudi Arabia and desire to develop such relations to serve the best interests of both countries and peoples, the Foreign Ministry said.
