Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will make a tour at a Japanese school to get acquainted with its distinguished experience in the education field, International Cooperation Minister Sahr Nasr announced on Sunday.
This comes as part of his visit to Tokyo, she added.
Speaking to MENA, Nasr said the Egyptian side is discussing with the Japanese side the possibility of increasing scholarships in the basic and higher education stages.
The Egyptian delegation will touch on ways to develop youth skills, qualify young cadres for leadership and draw on the successful Japanese expertise in the domain of education in general, Nasr noticed.
Egypt seeks to foster its strategic relations with Japan and exchange expertise in the areas of power and renewable energy, she added.
Also, Egypt is keen to benefit of the Japanese fund to help developing countries to switch to green energy and finance projects on solar power, she asserted.
The available investment opportunities in Egypt will be discussed at the meeting of the Egyptian-Japanese Business Forum, she underlined.
Also, the Egyptian side is expected to review with officials of the Japanese private sector energy projects, the development project of the Suez Canal's economic zone and industrial zones, she underscored.
Egyptian and Japanese officials will sign a deal to renovate Borg El Arab Airport and two other agreements in the energy and electricity fields, according to Nasr.
The three accords will be signed in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
Sisi's visit to Japan will help finalize the establishment of the Egyptian Grand Museum as soon as possible, she said.
President Sisi and his accompanying delegation will meet with a large number of Japanese companies' officials before holding the Egyptian-Japanese Business Forum to encourage Japanese investors to pump more investments into Egypt, Nasr asserted
