Education Minister Mahmoud Abo el-Nasr said on Friday that the ministry is facing major challenges that hinder it from developing the educational system.
In press statements, the minister called upon mass media to seek accuracy regarding the news that target destabilizing Egypt.
He also mourned the death of three students, saying that legal procedures were taken against the culprits.
The minister underlined that complaints of students' parents are under investigation.
Meanwhile, the minister noted that a committee was formed inside each school to carry out necessary maintenance operations.
He also urged education officials in provinces to regularly visit schools in order to meet the needs of students.
