Families and children can make merry and have a lot of fun at the Beach Family Fair, one of the main attractions of this year's ‘Eid in Dubai – Eid Al Adha' celebrations organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).
This fun-filled event, which started on Sunday and will run till October 11 at Kite Beach in Umm Suqueim 1, offers an array of family-oriented activities, daily from 4pm to 9pm. Families can choose from several beach and water-based activities and also enjoy live stage shows, workshops and storytelling sessions, designed to thrill audiences of all ages and nationalities and set to boost the city's multicultural spirit.
Adding to the family entertainment on the beach is the spectacular fireworks show that commences at 9pm daily.
Highlights of the Beach Family Fair include the Water Fight arena, kite competitions, an open cinema space that is set to attract the movie buffs, a Mermaid Meet and Greet activity, Bubble Shows, and performances by drummers.
Visitors can also avail themselves of a variety of food kiosks. ‘Eid in Dubai – Eid Al Adha' kicked off on September 25 and will run until October 11 this year under the theme ‘United in Celebration', featuring a range of entertainment, experiences and activities for residents and visitors from around the world.
