Temple of Kom-Ombo Aswan - Arab Today Aswan Governor Mostafa Yousri asserted that all tourists sites and attractions are ready to welcome the Bulgarian tourist groups, especially in the wake of Bulgaria's decision to lift its travel ban to some Egyptian tourist cities. This came during the governor's meeting with Bulgarian Ambassador to Egypt Roman Petrov. Aswan governor asserted that the governorate is fully ready for luring investments and launching new projects that will help boost the economy of the governorate which has a vast and rich wealth of minerals and natural resources, besides solar energy, power and oil. Aswan is qualified to be an international axis for commerce between Egypt and the 19-member states of The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), added the governor. The Bulgarian ambassador, on his part, voiced confidence over Egypt's ability to overcome the current interim phase because it is a strong and influential country in the Mideast region. He said the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Bulgaria reached dlrs 50 million in 2012. He also praised the upgrading of the tourist locations in Aswan and made a tour with his family of the governorate. Source: MENA
