January 25 revolution is credited with freeing media Cairo - Al Sayed Khalaf Allah Head of the news sector in Egyptian television, Ibrahim Al-Sayad, said that Egyptian TV is in a better condition than ever but there has to be a re-studying and restructuring for the purposes of transparency. Sayad pointed out that incompetencies need to be addressed and further training needs to be given to employees, so that they produce better quality work and attract more advertisers. "We must pay attention to each individual within the sector in particular," he added. Sayad stressed that media is inseparable from community, but there is a current air of mistrust that breaks down media communication. "News sector used to carry out orders of the National Democratic Party, but now it conveys what is going on the ground neutrally," Sayad said, crediting the January 25 revolution with freeing media restrictions. He stressed that the sector achieved a real boom in the form of news articles, and that the order of news report has progressed beyond newsletters. In spite of these conditions Egyptian television is still strong said the director.
