In a shocking case of gang rape, a woman from Delhi has alleged that she was raped by 23 men after being abducted from the outskirts of Bikaner in broad daylight.
The 28-year-old has gone to check a plot she owns and was waiting for her transport on the Jaipur road around 2.30pm. She alleges that two men dragged her into an SUV in the middle of the day.
"They drove me around near some mines for several hours and repeatedly raped me in the vehicle," she wrote in the complaint, as quoted by the Hindustan Times.
The two men called up six others, who also assaulted her in the car. The ordeal didn't end there as she was then taken to a government power substation, where more men assaulted her, she alleges.
The attackers then left the woman at the same spot, from where she was kidnapped, at around 4 am on September 26. A case of rape has been filed against two named suspects and 21 unidentified suspects, the newspaper said.
The FIR states that the two men left her at the spot from where she was picked up at around 4am on September 26. Police registered a case of rape on September 27 against two named suspects and 21 unidentified suspects.
No arrests have been made in the case yet.
