A 32-year-old Asian worker died on Wednesday evening after a falling from top of a 15-foot high warehouse located in Sharjah's Industrial Area 10.
The police said they received a call about the incident at the operations room. The man was employed by a maintenance company and was working at the warehouse belonging to the Sharjah Cooperative Society, when the incident took place. The police patrols and national ambulance rushed to the site.
Preliminary evidence showed that the man lost his balance while working and died immediately after falling on the cemented floor. His body was taken to the forensic laboratory.
The warehouse company management has been summoned for an interrogation regarding the safety regulations implemented at the site.
