At least four PKK militants were killed in airstrikes carried out by Turkish jets in northern Iraq, Turkish military sources said.
The sources said early Tuesday that four militants were killed and another was injured during an attack by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) in the village of Kesta, close to the Turkish border, Turkish Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
A PKK ammunition depot was also destroyed, the sources added. The PKK attacks in Turkey claimed the lives of more than 600 security personnel and many civilians, including women and children, while more than 7,000 PKK militants were killed in army operations.
