Two children were killed and two others injured when a fire erupted in a tent set up for quake survivors in the province of Van in eastern Turkey on Friday, local newspaper Today\'s Zaman reported on its website. The incident took place in a tent in Karpuzalan village in the province and the fire was caused by a heating stove in the Tolukan family\'s tent, according to the report. Six-year-old Ismail and 12-year-old Bahar were killed in the fire while the family\'s 12-year-old Mikail and two-year-old Kerem were seriously burned, said the report.
