His Royal Highness the Crown Prince today said that the world has declared war on extremism and that Bahrain and its partners are confronting desperate attempts by those who seek to finance terrorism and spread violence and chaos.
The Crown Prince noted that the recent joint decision taken by the Kingdom and its partners is not aimed at harming the Qatari people, but is aimed at combatting continued support to extremist groups, saying that it is a firm stand against the support the Qatari leadership has provided to extremist groups.
His Royal Highness said that Bahrain and its people have consistently paid the price for the support others have given to extremism, and that for many years the Kingdom has been combating this evil ideology alongside it allies and partners.
The Crown Prince reiterated that alongside recent international action taken, Bahrain’s commitment to upholding its society’s pluralistic and moderate values will ensure individuals are guided away from extremism and terrorism.
