Five people were injured when a passenger An-24 plane skidded off the runway on Monday in the city of Blagoveshchensk in Russia''s Far East, the local emergencies ministry said. The plane, with 36 people on board, ran off the runway during landing, Russian (RIA Novosti) News Agency reported. Five people received injuries, three of them, including two adults and a child, were hospitalized, a spokeswoman from the local emergencies ministry said. "Psychologists are working with the passengers," she said. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
