A Daesh leader was killed on Friday during a US-led coalition raid on a Daesh post in Anbar Province, western Iraq.
The US Joint Task Force said in a statement Friday that the airstrike resulted in the killing of Daesh leader - a Libyan national - in Kabisa, along with eight of his followers.
Meanwhile, Kurdish military source said the coalition warplanes shelled Daesh-controlled sites and gatherings in northern Iraq, killing a number of Daesh terrorists including two leaders.
