Saudi Embassy in Germany has issued a statement expressing its deep regret at the death of a German citizen who was driving his bicycle in the city on Tuesday after he hit a car of a member of the diplomatic mission in Germany.
The statement said that after opening the driver's door of the car that belongs to one of the members of the mission, the German biker hit the driver's door and fell on the ground, causing him injuries which led to transferring him to a hospital in the city.
Unfortunately, the fifty-one-year-old German died yesterday, and the Saudi Embassy expressed its regret for this painful incident and offered condolences to the family of the deceased, the statement said.
It pointed out that the Embassy is in a direct contact with the German Foreign Ministry and the competent authorities in this regard, noting that Saudi Chargé D'Affaires Adnan Bustaji will be accompanied by a diplomatic delegation from the Embassy to visit the family of the deceased and offer condolences today.
