13 soldiers were killed in an attack in Turkey's Kayseri, Turkish General Staff stated on Saturday.
A bus transporting soldiers was hit by an explosion near Erciyes University in the central Turkish city of Kayseri early on Saturday, killing 13 and injuring at least 48.
The blast hit the bus as it drove past a car believed to be packed with explosives.
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Veysi Kaynak said the blast was a car bomb, and it targeted the bus carrying soldiers.
Kaynak also said it resembled the attack in Besiktas in Istanbul.
Turkish General Staff said in the statement that the wounded were immediately transferred to local hospitals and there are some civilians injured by the attack.
