One soldier was killed and 26 people injured in a bomb attack that hit a gendarmerie headquarters in the southeastern Diyarbakir provinces Dicle district of Turkey late Sunday, unnamed security sources said.
According to the sources, at least 26 injuries, including civilians were reported. Three of them, who were transferred to Diyarbakir Military Hospital, are in critical condition, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported on Monday.
Military residential buildings in the area were also damaged in the blast, the sources said.
Security forces who headed to the Dicle district after the blast reportedly came under attack, sources added.
