Tournament to take place in Bahrain
Saudi Arabia’s national football squad has submitted its list of players ahead of the Gulf Cup of Nations in Bahrain next weekend. The whole team, including formerly injured players, trained at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi stadium in Rakah
on Tuesday.
The session was attended by the Secretary General of the Saudi Arabia Olympic Committee Mohammed Almshal and Director of the Youth Office in the Eastern Region Faisal Hadi, who held a small party for the players following training.
The team’s Dutch coach, Frank Rijkaard, is set to announce the names of four players who will be excluded from the Bahrain-bound squad on Wednesday.
