Hassan Shehata Cairo - Agencies Hassan Shehata has resigned from his post as Zamalek's coach after a meeting with club's board on Saturday. The former Egypt national team coach Shehata revealed that he took that decision because the management didn't meet his demands as they neglected his released players' list for next season and refused also to sign new players. An official statement has yet to be released, but the board is expected to try to persuade Shehata to stay with Zamalek and continue his efforts to rejuvenate the team with a view towards clinching the CAF Champions League title. The 62-year-old has been reportedly unsatisfied with the management treatment of the team's players, especially when they delayed the players' fees and their situation in solving the players' problems. Shehata was the longest-serving coach in the Egyptian National team history before joining the White Knights in 2011.
