John Mensah London - Arabstoday Ghana captain John Mensah said he is recovering well from a muscle problem he suffered in a CAF Africa Cup of Nations group game against Botswana. \"I\'m feeling better with each passing day,\" Mensah said. \"The doctor said after the scan in Libreville that it is a minor injury, I\'m undergoing treatment and that in no time I will be back playing again.\" However, the Lyon defender did sit out Sunday morning\'s training in Ngouni. Mensah was sent off in the opening Group D match against Botswana in Franceville, but he has served out a one-match ban and will be available for selection if he is fit for Wednesday\'s final group game against Guinea. His return will give coach Goran Stevanovic a pleasant selection headache as his four central defenders will all be available with Hoffenheim\'s Isaac Vorsah having served a two-match suspension. Younger defenders John Boye and Jonathan Mensah have covered in the absence of John Mensah and Vorsah. And, the centre-back said he was delighted that in his absence Ghana defeated Mali 2-0 to stay top of Group D and stayed on course to secure a place in the quarter-finals. \"I was very excited that in my absence we won very well. I saw how they were all pumped up for this game in the morning of match day and I knew they meant business,\" he said.
