Hassan Hamdy Cairo – Hossam Al Sayed Head of Al Ahli club, Hassan Hamdy, made his first appearance after being investigated for corruption at the team's training session to motivate players before a match against the Nigerian Sunshine Stars on October 21. Hamdy was out on a 2 million Egyptian pound bail. Director of football, Sayed Abd Hafeez, said he was pleased with Hamdy’s visit and said it reflects the strong relationship between the club's management and the players. He said there is no information about the arrival date of the Nigerian team. Hamdy also assured that Ahmed Adel Abdel Moneim will be cleared by a medial team to return to practice in a matter of days. One of the team's players, Mahmoud Hassan Trezegeh sustained an injury to his ankle and was unable to attend team practices. Dr Ehab Ali, the team’s doctor, said that he needs to rest for two days before beginning physiotherapy sessions. He also said that Trezegeh will participate in the match against Sunshine Stars. It is expected that Trezegeh will miss the friendly match against Talaea Al Gaish, sometime this month.
