David Ferrer London - UPI David Ferrer returns to the world No. 5 ranking following his victory at the UNICEF Open in the Netherlands. Ferrer defeated Philipp Petzschner 6-3, 6-4 Saturday in taking the UNICEF title. He dropped just one set in the event. It was the fourth championship of the year for Ferrer and it allowed him to edge past Jo-Wilfried Tsonga by 20 points for fifth place in the rankings going into the Wimbledon Championships. The tournament seedings were set last week before the UNICEF Open was complete, however, and Ferrer was installed as the seventh seed, behind Tsonga at No. 5 and sixth-seeded Tomas Berdych. There was only one other change in the rankings' Top 25 as tennis headed into its third major tournament of the year. That saw Andy Roddick improve his standing eight places to No. 25 after he won the AEGON International Saturday in England. Novak Djokovic has been on top of the rankings for a year and has 12,280 points. Rafael Nadal has been ranked No. 2 since Djokovic took the top spot and has 10,060 points. The No. 3 ranking is held by Roger Federer (9,435) and Andy Murray (6,980) remains fourth. Ferrer has 5,250 points and Tsonga's total is 5,230. Berdych, at No. 7, has 4,685. Janko Tipsarevic (3,200) is eighth but just 20 points up on Juan Martin del Potro. John Isner completes the Top 10 at 2,655.
