The Moroccan racing drive, Mehdi Bennani, said that he fully prepared to run in in the World Touring Car Championship, scheduled to be held in from 7 to 9 April, on the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan, in Marrakech.
The Moroccan champion added, in an exclusive interview with Arabs Today, that this is the first race of its kind in Morocco, and it represents an opportunity to confirm his presence in his homeland, as well as to represent the African continent and the Arab world, highlighting that this sport is suitable for the introduction of joy and happiness to the hearts of Moroccans who eagerly await it.
He added that Morocco is entitled to be proud of welcoming to this global event, which reflects the civilized image of Marrakech, and its distinct Circuit which responds to international standards, highlighting that Moulay El Hassan Circuit is no less important than the rest of the world circuits, including Circuit de Monaco.
Bennani stated that this race is a crucial station in his career, where he will seek strongly to win the world title in 2017, to be added to a series of positive results, where he, previously, scored the first victory in the overall standings during the final race of 2016 in Qatar.
He noted that elite group of racers, who have accumulated great experiences at race tracks, will run for the competition to win the grand prize in Marrakech, who will represent 20 countries in all continents, European, American and Asian.
