Egypt’s Ismaily into semis

USM Alger have looked strong this tournament Algiers – Khaled Alloush Egyptian side Ismaily will clash with USM Alger in the semi-finals of the coveted Arab League Cup, while Raja Casablanca take on Kuwaiti club el-Araby for a place in the final. Alger will face Ismaily on the back of two strong performances against Jordanian side Bokaa, beating them 6-1 and 3-2 across two legs. Ismaily will have more to prove when the two sides come together, after going through to the semis after seeing off Chahab Belouizdad in penalties. USM Alger will host the first leg semi-final match on March 12, followed by an April 2 tie in Egypt. El-Araby will also play their Moroccan opponents on March 12, with a second-leg match on April 3.
