The 25-year old Saudi Arabian international received an offer to extend his stay at Saudi Professional League from his agent, Fehr al-Tayeb, ten days ago. Afterwards, he said he was happy to have resolved his future with al-Ahli and thanked the club's honorary board member Prince Khalid bin Abdullah for his support. This move to tie up al-Musa for the next four years is part of al-Ahli's plans to build a team around some of their key players for the future. The club, nicknamed Fortress of Trophies, is currently second in the Saudi Professional League, seven points behind leaders al-Fateh after 23 games.
