The Palestinian people will never give up on ending the Israeli occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state, with Al Quds (occupied East Jerusalem) as its capital, affirmed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
In the 49th anniversary of the Naksa (Setback) Day, Abbas said that the Palestinians who offered sacrifices to attain this goal will never accept any reality Israel is trying to impose, especially in Al Quds and its Islamic and Christian sanctities.
The Palestinian leadership abides by the two-state solution, he added.
Abbas, meanwhile, welcomed international efforts which are in the interest of eternal and just peace.
