Israeli warplanes launched a new raid of air strikes targeting Gaza Strip at dawn of Thursday, wounding a Palestinian elderly man, local sources said.
Israeli war jets fired two rockets at an outpost of Saraya el Quds, Jihad movement's military wing, in northern Gaza Strip, causing damage and not casualties.
The warplanes also targeted a workshop in Zeitoun district, wounding a 65-year-old man, the sources said.
The man suffered shrapnel in the hand and shoulder.
An Israeli army spokesman said the air raids come in response to shooting attacks against Israeli forces near the security fence.
Yesterday, Israeli warplanes fired three rockets at Gaza International Airport in eastern Rafah but no casualties were reported.
