A Palestinian was shot and injured by Israeli forces’ fire on Wednesday to the east of al-Shujaiyya neighborhood, east of Gaza city.
Israeli soldiers deployed and stationed in military watchtowers along the border to the east of Gaza city reportedly opened live fire on Palestinian farmers and nearby homes, shooting and injuring a Palestinian in his foot, Palestine's (WAFA) News Agency reported.
The injured Palestinian was transferred to hospital for medical treatment, where his condition was described a s moderate. Israeli forces also arrested a youth from the village of Kafr Dan west of Jenin, while another was arrested from Bethlehem.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers demolished, on at dawn Wednesday, a Palestinian home in Shufat neighborhood, north of occupied East Jerusalem, after surrounding and isolating it.
Eyewitnesses said dozens of soldiers invaded the neighborhood, before breaking into the home of Rajeh Mohammad Saleh Hawareen, and forced him along with his family out of their property. Army bulldozers then proceeded to demolish the property, without allowing the family to remove all of its belongings and furniture.
The home was demolished so that Israel can pave a road linking between the illegal Israeli colonies of Ramat Shlomo and Pisgat Zeev, built on Palestinian lands in the occupied territories, in direct violation of International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention to which Israel is a signatory and a constant violator.
