The Palestinian Foreign Ministry urged on Monday the UN Security Council (UNSC) to shoulder its responsibility in protecting the two-state solution and take the needed measures to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
In a press release, the ministry said Israeli settlement activities aim at closing the door in front of the political solutions to the conflict and the establishment of a viable and sovereign Palestinian state.
It added the international silence over the
grave violations committed by Israeli forces of the International law, fuels the unprecedented settlement activities, Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported.
