Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to work together to uproot militancy in the region.
The understanding came at a meeting between a visiting Afghan delegation led by Minister for Refugees Hussain Almi Balkhi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi and Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak in Islamabad, Radio Pakistan reported.
The two sides also discussed the issue of repatriation of Afghan refugees to their homeland.
The Afghan Minister informed that guidelines have been prepared to create a model project for rehabilitation of Afghan refugees.
The KPK Governor acknowledged the Afghan government's efforts for repatriation of refugees.
The Afghan Minister appreciated Pakistan's sacrifices for giving shelter to their Afghan brother.
