Israeli occupation forces on Thursday heavily opened fire at a number of Palestinian farmers in southern Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces stationed in watchtowers at the borderline intensively opened fire on farmers and harvest workers in the agricultural lands in eastern Khan Yunis, according to local Palestinian sources.
The Palestinian farmers and workers were forced to flee their lands for fear of being injured by Israeli fire, added the sources.
Israeli forces have repeatedly opened fire on Palestinian civilians near the border since the ceasefire agreement signed August 26, 2014 that ended a 50-day war between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement.
