A Palestinian was killed and others were injured in clashes with Israeli forces in Umm al-Hiran, a Bedouin village in Israel's southern Negev region that is home to Palestinian citizens of Israel.
A large number of Israeli forces besieged the village and stormed into it, leaving behind a Palestinian youth killed and several people, including Arab MK Ayman Ouda, were injured, the village's local committee head said.
The Israeli forces besieged the village in preparation for demolishing it, Ra'ed al Qi'an said.
Yaqoub Moussa was killed while driving his car toward the village's entrance as Israeli forces opened fire at people massing there in a bid to prevent the troops from storming into the village.
Israel forces blockaded the village on Monday in preparation for demolishing it. The local committee called on people to mass to confront the storming forces.
Israel continues to bulldoze houses in Negev under the pretext that they were not licensed.
Negev inhabitants call on international humanitarian and human rights organizations to visit Negev to stand on the deteriorating conditions.
