US military forces continued to attack Daesh terrorists in Syria using remotely piloted aircraft to conduct two airstrikes, the Combined Joint Task Force announced.
Separately, US and coalition military forces conducted seven airstrikes in Iraq using attack, fighter and remotely piloted aircraft against Daesh terrorists, the announcement said. All strikes took place between Saturday and Sunday, it said.
In Syria near Al Hasakah, two airstrikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed two Daesh vehicles, the statement said.
In Iraq near Al Asad, an airstrike struck an Daesh tactical unit and destroyed an Daesh storage facility and two Daesh boats; and near Al Qaim, an airstrike destroyed an Daesh building; and near Kirkuk, an airstrike struck an Daesh tactical unit and destroyed two Daesh storage containers; while and near Mosul, four airstrikes struck two Daesh tactical units, an Daesh building, an Daesh excavator and destroyed an Daesh building, the statement said.
