International Cooperation Minister Sahr Nassr said on Thursday that negotiations were underway with Arab funds on the projects to be carried out to develop the Sinai Peninsula.
The minister made the remarks during her meeting with representatives of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Saudi Fund for Development, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, the Islamic Development Bank and the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID).
The minister referred to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to step up developing Sinai.
She lauded contributions made by the Arab funds to the Sinai development projects.
