The total loans offered by the Kuwait Credit Bank (formerly the Kuwait Credit and Savings Bank) since it was established till the end of July reached KD 7.141, with 329,000 beneficiaries, Director-General Salah Al-Modhaf said on Saturday.
The KCB celebrated its golden jubilee in April.
Figures show that citizens benefiting from the KCB loans have been remarkably able to improve their financial standings, Al-Modhaf added in a statement.
Meanwhile, the Bank is taking part in the Industries and Construction Fair due here on December 7-10, under the patronage of Minister of State for Housing Affairs Yasser Abul, it added.
The December fair comes at a significant time for the KCB, Al-Modhaf pointed out, referring to it as the biggest housing and real estate national event held annually. Usually it witnesses high turnout by people willing to know about the available housing and real estate financing, Al-Modhaf said.
