Director of operations and director of regular maintenance at Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) said on Monday regular maintenance for the company's factories will end as scheduled, on December 6, at a total cost of about KD 32 million.
There is full coordination with contractors and a number of external firms to carry out the regular maintenance with commitment to end the task during the set timetable, Hamad Al-Subaie said in an interview with "Kimia" magazine, issued by the Company in November.
The regular and comprehensive maintenance is carried out at the company's plants every two and a half years, he said, adding that the regular maintenance began on October 17.
One Kuwaiti dinar is currently traded in the range of USD 3.4.
