Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahim Al-Hammadi unveiled the ministry’s plan to review its media strategy while availing of the achievements of the former ministers. He said it is very likely to introduce some amendments to the new media draft law after consultations with legal experts.
In a statement to Al-Watan newspaper published today, he hailed the royal speech as a roadmap for national work in the next phase, affirming resolve to translate the royal vision into a reality.
He also stressed that the ministry’s plans will stem from the government’s programmes, voicing resolve to build on previous achievements in the media field to bring about more development to the sector.
He said assessment is a continuous process and any institutional work should undergo evaluation to determine priorities for the next phase.
