The Egyptian artist Horieya Farghaly denied rumours saying she signed a monopoly contract with al Adl Group Production Company. She pointed out that she is against the concept of monopoly and she will never do it. Farghaly said in an exclusive interview with Arabstoday: “All what were reported about the monopoly contract with al Adl Group are not true. I did not receive any offers from the production company.” She added: “I am totally against the concept of monopoly. If I ever receive such an offer one day from any production company, I will definitely refuse because I believe that monopoly hinders the creative progress of the artist and limits him to the ideas and the will of the producers. I cannot bear such thing, whatever the financial temptation is.” Farghaly participated in last Ramadan’s drama with two shows: “Saydna al-Sayed” (Our Sir Sayed) with the Syrian artist Gamal Suleiman and Hekayat Banat (Tales of girls), with Reham Amin, Dina Sherbiny and Saba Mubarak.
