Amy Ghanem: a brilliant actress not aspiring to sing

Singer Amy Samir Ghanem confirmed that she had dreamt of playing the lead role, but did not expect it to come so quickly through the series 'Arees Delivery'. She also denied apologizing for doing the seriesbecause of the payment, and said she did not aspire for singing in spite of the positive reviews she gets on her voice, because her focus currently is on acting, "Arabs Today" meet with the star for this interview ... * Who nominated you for your role in the TV serial "Ares Delivery"?  - It came through the musical composer Mahmoud Talaat and I felt happy about that, especially since it is the first time for me to stand in front of comedian Hani Ramzi. I dreamed of playing leading roles but I did not expect it to come so quickly, and I hope I'll reach the expectations of those who gave me the opportunity. I also hope to have an artistic legacy like my father's. Q: What about your role in the series? - I play the role of the only real beloved of Niazi whom he wants to marry, but the the marriage is postponed because of the various marriages which he does for humanitarian reasons. * What is the reality behind your apology for your role in the series "Ares Delivery"? - On the contrary, I did not apologize for the role, unlike what was written in websites and newspapers that I apologized for my role in the series because of the economic conditions, and my refusal to reduce my payment. In fact, the entire team agreed from the first moment to reduce his wages, bringing the ‘boat’ to safety. * How do you feel when the public describe you as a comedy actress? - Fear dominates me when audiences confine me in comedy roles, and I wish to draw a smile on people's faces. However, in an unintended way, because if I made a comedy scene and intended to make the public laugh, and some of them laughed, while the others did not, it indicates my failure. I prefer to make situational comedy to be unintended, and I leave it to the audience to express their admiration for the role. I do not like to be categorized as comedian, I am even afraid of this category even though I made this style before in the movies "Asal Eswed" and "Bolol Hayran" But I can not take the responsibility for making people laugh, as comedy is not easy. And it's not only because I am afraid of the comparison between me and my father Samir Ghanim because there is no comparison anyway. * How did your artistic upbringing affect you?  - It added a lot to me, first I learned from my father how to avoid affectations and artificiality in performance and I consider these features the magical recipe to reach the hearts of the public, and I learned from my mother punctuality and discipline in general in all aspects of life. * We heard you are heading into singing soon, what is the story behind that? - I am not talented with singing, and I don't think I have a beautiful voice to sing, despite singing a part of a song in my TV serial "Arees Delivery", I don't find myself able  to sing, however, the serial's team praised my voice and performance in singing. Right now, I am focusing only on acting and I don't aspire to sing.
