Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali on Tuesday said that following up the conditions of Christian families, who left Arish to Ismailia on the backdrop of terrorist threats in North Sinai, is maintained on daily basis.
In statements to MENA on the sidelines of an Arab ministerial conference on terrorism and social development now in session here, she added that these efforts are being exerted as part of supporting these families and caring for them.
She added that this is the responsibility of the State towards these families especially at these difficult times through which the Egyptians are passing through.
All are Egyptians regardless of their religion or place of residence, she pointed out.
The Ministry, she added, has extended over the past few hours 100 blankets, 50 mattresses and 50 pillows along with 87 packages of foodstuffs and 173 cooked meals to these families.
