A court in Fujairah sentenced a local hotel waiter for six months in jail and ordered his deportation from the UAE after he was convicted of making a bomb hoax report, press reports said on Tuesday. The unnamed waiter had phoned the hotel manager many times and told him there is a bomb in the building, Emarat Al Youm daily said. “He refused to reveal his name, prompting the manager to tell the police, who managed to track the report source and arrest the man,” it said. “The waiter told court that he had done so because he wanted to return to his home country.”
