Union Fortress live military demonstration highlights stature

H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, said that the professionalism of the Armed Forces and its level of preparation are a source of pride for the people, and that the large participation from citizens and residents who attended the Union Fortress live military demonstration is the best evidence of the Armed Force’s high stature.

The statement from H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan came during the occasion of the Union Fortress live military demonstration, which took place this evening in the middle of the sea that faces the beach of the Abu Dhabi Corniche. It was also witnessed by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and a number of Their Highnesses the Sheikhs and ministers and high officials, with the attendance of a large crowd of UAE citizens and expatriate residents, embodying the professional abilities of the brave Armed Forces.

In his statement, H.H. Sheikh Hazza said that with the zeal of the Emiratis, the country is moving forward towards greater accomplishments. The nation openly expresses its dreams because it knows that it can turn those dreams into reality. The advancement, professionalism and strength that were seen today at 'Union Fortress' is the result of decades of honest work, effort and strategies that have continued since the Union’s founding.

He added that with Emirati arms and with the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE has become more invincible and stronger, and its fortress has become higher and more glorious. Together it will move onwards and with its sons’ determination, it will achieve the impossible.

Sheikh Hazza highlighted, at the end of his statement, that the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is based on establishing the elements of strength in land, sea and air, as well as in the hearts, mind and arms, as he is present in the "Hosn Al Etihad" (Union Fortress) and its honour and flying banner.
