Abu dhabi - Arab Today

The UAE will ring in the new year with its march of giving getting much stronger thanks to the blessing of Allah and the solid foundations laid by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan and his fellow founding leaders, said His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his confidence that the UAE would achieve more progress, prosperity and giving under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

"The sky is the limit for our ambitions in the progress and glory of our nation,'' HH said in a statement on the eve of the new year.

''The UAE is a nation of goodness, tolerance and is always sowing the seeds of goodness to reap love and joy. We are promoters of peace and security as our future is filled of optimism and hope ... we are determined to deliver more in terms of achievements," he said "Our acts and achievements do not bid farewell to a year and wait for another, as our work will continue relentlessly guided by a clear crystal vision, plan and strong will to do the best for our nation,'' HH affirmed.

''Allah the Almighty has blessed the UAE with a loyal leadership and people who have offered ultimate sacrifices to elevate the nation. Devotion, loyalty and sacrifice remain fundamental components of a deeply grounded approach that bring us together on this good land," he stated.

"The UAE is charting its own path for success, leadership and excellence driven by the work of its people, their potentials, abilities, loyalty and unlimited giving,'' HH said.

''Our region has experienced many challenges but the UAE and its fellow countries have stood firmly and confronted them," he further added.

With Allah's help and the same steadfastness, the nation will do its best in protecting and defending the security and stability of the region, HH maintained.

HH expressed his hope that peace, security and stability would prevail in the region and the world at large, and that all peoples would come together under the values of goodness, co-operation, co-existence and tolerance.

HH Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the leadership and people of the UAE on the advent of the new year, praying to the Allah Almighty to perpetuate welfare, stability and progress in the UAE.
