The UAE will host on Sunday the 19th meeting of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) for Arab States’ Ministers for Information at Emirates Palace. The meeting will be chaired by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister for Public Works and Chairman of National Media Council. Pre-talks Undersecretaries of the Information Ministries will hold a preparatory meeting on Saturday at Emirates Palace. They will discuss a number of issues pertaining to GCC media co-ordination to tackle the latest regional and international developments. Europe meet The GCC ministers will stress the importance of GCC media strategy. They will also activate the GCC day’s sessions in Europe, and will assess the possibility of holding such sessions in other capitals to introduce the GCC progress to them. ( From The Gulf Today )
