The commander-in-chief of Ajman Police, Abdullah Al Nuaimi, said that they received a report from a private school in the emirate about a number of students involved in unsavoury dance in videos that went viral.
While denying that the police had arrested the students, he added that a team of the community police in the General Command of the Ajman Police, in coordination with the school administration, visited the secondary school.
They called the parents of the students, while asking those involved to sign a pledge that they would not repeat such a behaviour and maintain the sanctity of the school environment, Abdullah Al Nuaimi said.
He added that the students and their parents realised the gravity of the matter.
The commander-in-chief of Ajman police stressed the need to publish and circulate any information or picture only after confirmation by the official sources.
