His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have congratulated the nation's armed forces currently in the field of duty outside the country, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
In a speech carried on a live private video-link, the Vice President and the Crown Prince expressed their pride, and that of the people of the UAE, in the heroism and courage of the forces, and their honourable positions, asking Allah Almighty to help and support them.
Their Highnesses exchanged greetings with the soldiers, and expressed the pride of President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the great sacrifices made by the people of the UAE, keeping the UAE flag flying high, praying to Allah Almighty to return this occasion to the UAE leadership and people with health and prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed said, "I greet you on this blessed occasion; the UAE is gratified with your efforts, our youth today look up to you, and the President of the State, is proud of you. Me, and my brother and supporter, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, congratulate you on Eid, and I promise you that victory is near, we stand as one, and we are all with you."
