Tunisia on Tuesday denied reports about plans by Syrian authorities to execute 100 Tunisian nationals in Syria out of 300 Tunisians who were arrested there in 2014.
Foreign Minister Khamis al Jehinawi, in press statements, added that his ministry has contacted the Syrian authorities who completely denied the reports.
Tunisian media outlets had published reports to the effect that Syrian authorities are about to execute 100 Tunisian terrorists on its soil out of 300 who were arrested in 2014 over charges of killing civilians and targeting Syrian army forces with bombings.
