President of the Republic, General Michel Sleiman, on Monday congratulated the Lebanese on the holy occasion of Adha Feast, wishing this event would be an opportunity to do some rational thinking on the best means possible to bridge the gap among the Lebanese en route to development and stability. On the other hand, Baabda Palace witnessed today some vibrant activity as interlocutors held multi-level talks with the Lebanese President. Caretaker Interior and Municipalities Minister Marwan Charbel had his share of talks with the President over the prevailing security situation and preparations underway to implement a security plan in Tripoli city and its surroundings. Sleiman also held a works meeting over ongoing preparations for Lebanon\'s official stance during the Francophone Ministerial meeting due to be held on the 7th of November, 2013. Seperately, Member of Parliament, Michel Pharoun, met with the President today over most recent developments, especially with regard to cabinet formation progress. Court of Audit head, Aouni Ramadan, also visited the President for a briefing on the court\'s latest activities. Among the President\'s other visitors had also been Lebanon\'s Ambassador to UNESCO, Khalil Karam, who gave the President a briefing on UNESCO\'s General Secretariat elections.
