Cairo - MENA

Protesters continud their sit-in at Tahrir Square for the second day in a row protesting over the new constitutional declarations issued Thursday by Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi. The number of tents set up in the square noticeably increased, according to MENA correspondent. The protesters closed all entrances leading to the square. As many as 18 political powers and parties issued a statement Friday, calling for organizing marches as of Tuesday to urge rejecting the constitutional declaration. The parties call for revoking the new constitutional declaration, dissolving the Constituent Assembly, holding national dialogue to set up a new constitution-writing body, sacking the government of Hisham Qandil and restructuring the Interior Ministry.
